Diane is "Featured Artist" at San Diego Art Walk 2005 San Diego's Art Walk festival in the "Little Italy" neighborhood will take place on April 23rd and 24th. Diane was not only selected as one of Art Walk's 12 featured artists but her painting "4 Little Flamingos Plus One" graces the brochure and posters for the festival. "It certainly is a thrill to see my painting on posters in Starbucks everywhere!" said Diane. "I am very excited about this year's event."

Censored! Though most of Diane's work involves innocuous flamingo paintings, she does venture into some social commentary from time to time. But she wasn't quite prepared to be told that she could not hang her 1999 "The Poster Girl" at a group show in Oceanside. Something about it offending a military town. She has also been bemused to discover that her "Sex Curves" (left) is far more likely to be accepted into a juried show if it is simply listed as "Untitled Abstract". .
